The democratic Mate committee Thursday reelected IJcrnard Korbiy, Indianapolis, state chairman and fixed March 1J for the state convention at Indianapolis. The date for district conventions wan set for March IS. V. A. Ivunkcl, Bluff ton, was elected Ice chairman and Hugh Dougherty, Indianapolis, treasurer. INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 8. Democrats from every section of Indiana are hero tonight for the democratic love feast tonight. The democratic stato committee will be reorganized then and Hernard Korbiy of Indianapolis probably will be elected state chairman. The Indiana Democratic Editorial association is also meeting here. Sens. Kern and Shively will be present at the love feast and Reps. Adair of the eighth district, Cullop, second, and Cox of the third already have arrived. Practically every candidate for democratic nominations for state offices is in the city including Hop. Adair and Wm. H. O'Brien, candidates for governor, George W. Curtis of Mount Vernon and Edwin Corr of Bloomington, candidates for attorney general, and Homer L. Cook, speaker of the house, who is a candidate for secretary of state. Two candidates for state treasurer, George Bittler of Fort Wayne and John Isenbarger of North Manchester were among the visitors, as were Myron D. King, who is campaigning for auditor, and Dale J. Scores of delegates from all over the U. S. and foreign lands met here Thursday in the greatest meeting of euginists ever held in any city in the country. Among the delegates were 200 famous physicians, scientists, educators, surgeons and health and social service workers and more arrive on every traiu to attena the "first conference on belterment ver held in the history of the rvcrlu . Kellogg and Rev. Newell Dwight Hillls were discussing race degeneracy. Rev. Mr. 1111 Ms said he would like to see experts from ail lines aiming at race betterment meet to compare notes. The conference which began Thursday is the result of that chance conference. Scientists find that the birth rate in America is decreasing at such a rate that by 2014 no babies will be born. Men are losing their teeth, hair and health long lefore the allotted time. To find what the causes are and to offer remedies is the object of the conference.
