Indiana Conference branch of the Woman’s Mite Missionary society, called the women of Bethel A. M. E. church together and perfected | an organization in Mt. Vernon, last week. It was indeed a beautiful sight, to see this large array of young and active Christian workers answer the call for service. The election of officers was but the work of a few minutes us the older people pushed the younger forward and promised to stand back of them. Mrs. Susie Butler, an earnest and efficient Christian leader was made president, while Mrs. Mamye Powell, was elected secretary. With the other fine women filling responsible places, Mt. Vernon will take her place program building that is going ou in Southern Indinaa. Much praise should be given Rev. and Mrs. C. L. Williams, fine spirit of co-operation. They are the type of leaders need-
