This affliction tsdaeto chewing gam, she having employed the naa of her jaws so constantly daring tba last three month* that the muscles of her face art powerless, aad her nerves are la a dilapidated condition. When she laughs her face preaaaU aa amusing sight, aad yet there ia much sympathy felt for the little girl, aa her condition is regarded as a serious osa by the physicians wha have been called open to treat bar. Ia whatever position she is able to twist bar mouth the muscles remain, aad the face ia thas in a contorted shape until oac of the members of her family assist her to plow it ia proper condition with their beads. Hsr chin drape, and it frequently become* necessary to tie a bandage over bar bead to keep tba tower jew in the proper place. Mary is now under the care of Dr. Hitoa, who is applying plasters to her fees, aad nader this treatment she seems to be improving, though vary slowly. A maa at tha depot offorod to show her a hotol, and sho started off with him. Ho lod her out to the weetern suburb of tbe city aad into tbe woods beyond, where they were orsrtakoa by another mao, and one ot thorn domaodod that sho should give up her mousy. M She fled for her Hie, when oae ef them made a throat at her breast with a knife, giving her a terrible stab. Thta they koeoked bar in the head, aod, dragging her some forty or fifty yards from the road, threw bor into tbo bushes, leaving her ior dead. She was found several hours later. Her sknll was crashed and she died soon afterward. No clue as to tberideutity of tha misereants has been discovered. Aberdeen, Dak., January 29.—Nawa baa reached hero that two school children perished ia the storm Friday night, and that a third is not expected to survive the exposure.
