The case of Thompson vs. Williams, wealthy physicians, for $1,U00 damages lor violation of contract, was decided m the circuit court at Liberty, Williams paying one cent damages and coats, and agreeing to refrain from further medical practice in that vicinity. Last evening, at the J., M. <k I. depot at Sheibyville, Lent Richardson, of this place, and a man named Sullivan, of Lewis Creek, had a fight, resulting in Richardson hitting Sullivan with a car-pin, inflicting serious injuries. The recent raids on the gambling dens at Rochester have awakened the gamblers, and several prominent citizens who have encouraged the officers m the work received warning yesterday that unless they desist dire vengeance will follow. The cards have created a sensation, and as the raids will be eontinued it is expected serious trouble will

certain that the bailooa Le Fugitif hat been destrofedio »recent gale, and that three aeronauts—Aime Girod, a musical composer; Jules Rettaud, the baritone, once attached to a theater in New York, and Rubeie Carroul —have perished. Le Fugitif was last seen on Saturday, circling oyer Brest, in a gale of wind. A Russian steamer, just arrived, reports that on Sunday, six miles off Brest, it passed a wrecked balloon and car answering exactly the description of Le Fugitif.
