LYON'S
PERIODICAL DROPS!
THE GREAT FEMALE REMEDY FOR IRREGULARITIES!
I have tested these Drops in my own practice, over te.. years, unJ uu not hesitate to aay, that nothing has yet been developed by medical ro search, that acts so powerfully, positevelr, and harmlessly, in caSes of Fsmale lrr. gslurity, as does ihis Medicine. In all recent c»s«s it never tails, while thousands who have been long suffer ars, are indebted to it for the boon Ofhealth today.
Although they are so powerful and positive, the} are perfectly harmlrss, and ma be used at all times, except when specially forbidden in the directions.
They have l-eeu extensively employtd by eminent Physicians in France and England, as well as in my own practice, over ten years, and I have to hear of the first instance of failure. I could give you testimonials ot thtdr efficacy from ladles all over the Northern and Western States, were they not in their nature private. Ov*r 100,000 bottles have been sold the past year, and I hope and trust as many sufferers have bees benefitted. I am well aware that a remedy so potent to remov® all obstructions, may be used for a bad purpose, but trust that where one bottle is thus used, ten may fall into the hands of really needy sufierers.-
To all who suffer from any irregularity, painful, difficult, excessive, offensive or obstructed Menstjuation, Luchorrhea, or tho train of diseases that follow, I would say, try a bottle of
DR. LYON'S
French Periodical Drops. Being a fluid preparation, thetr action is more direct and positive than any Pills or Powders. Explicit directions, bearing my f&c-sizsile, accorrpa ny fach bottle.

DR. J. W. POLAND'S
White Pine
Compounrt
Is now offered to the afflicted throupliout the country, after having BSsu proved by the test of eleven years, is the New England States, whero its merits have become as well known as tti8 tree irom which, in part, it derivss its virtues.
The White Pine Comjsoand Cures Sore Throat, Colds, Coughs, Diphtheria, Bronchitis, Spitting of Blood, and
Pulmonary Affections generally. It. i9 a remarkable Eemedy for Kidney Complaints, Diabetes,
Difficulty of Voiding Urine, Bleeding from the Kidneys
1
and Bladder, Gravel and other complaints.
Pine Compound.
The White
"It was early in the spring of 18S5 that this Compound was originated. A member of my family was afflicted with an irritation of the throat, attended with a disagreeable cough, I had forBome months previius thought that a preparation having for its basis the inside bark of white pine might be ^compounded as to be very useful in diseases of the throat and lungs. To test the value of it in the cn»o alluded to, I compounded a small quantity of the medicine that I had been planninz, and gave it oonful dosts. The result was exceedingly gratifying. Within two 4ays the iij ritation of tho thr«at waB removed, the cough subsided and a speedy cure was effected. Soon after this I sent some to a lady in Londonderry, N.' H., who had been suffering for some weeks from a bad cough, oecasioned by a s(jtlden cold, and had raised mucus sltfeoked with blood. She soon iound relieff and seat for more. She took about ten ounce) ofJ|, and got well. J. R. Claiko, Esq editor of We Manchester Daily Mirror, made a trial of thfe same preparation in ths ense of a severe cold, and was cured immediately. He was so highly pleased with the resultp, and so confident In success attending its sale", If placed bofore the public, that be finally persuaded me to gtve it a name, and send it abroad to benefit the suffering. ID November, 1865,
I
first advortised it under the
name of White Pine Compound. In two years from that tinio there had been wholesaled in Man-" Chester alone One Hundred Dollars wcrtb, where it took the lead of all the cough remedies in the market, and it still maintains that position. Theie is good reasons for all this it is vory soothingand healing in its nature, is warming to the stomach, and pleasant withal to the taste, and is exceedingly cheap. "As a re.medy for kidney complainls the WhitePine Compound stands unrivaled. It was n.tt originated for that purpose, but a person in using it for a couth was not only cured of the cough, but was also cured of a kidnoy difficulty of ten years standing. Slnco that accidental discovery many thousands have need it for the snmo complaint, and have bean completely cured."
The above was written by Dr. Poland, in 18G0.— Since then, as in Manchester, the White Pine Compound has taken the lead of ult Cough Remedies, as well as preparatlons'for the enre of Kidney difficulties, in every city towi., tillage and hnmlct throughout the New England State*.
This remedy is as sste aud pleasant to tnke as it Is effectual.
The editor of the Manchester Daily and Weekly Mirror, in the leaiW of th^ Daiiy, thus writes of the Compound: "The White Pine Compound is adver'ti.- at mnch length in onr columns, and we are happy to learn that the demand for it is in creas.ng beyond oil pievio- a ixp.ctaiioiis It ii the very best medicine for cough* an.l colds we know of, and no family that lias uix used it wi'l ever bo without it. Wo speak from our own knowl edge it is sure to kill a cold, and pleasant as it is sure Tho greatest inventions coiue by accident, and it is singular that the White Pine Compound made for coughs and colds should prove to list ie greatest remedy for kidney difficulties
