A class of maladies prevail to a fearful extent in the community, dooming at least 100,000 youth of both sexes annually, to an early grave. Those diseases are very imperfectly understood. Tbeir external manifestation, or symptoms are Nervous Debility, Relaxation and Exhaustion Marasmus or wasting and consumption of the tissues of the whole body shortness of breathing or hurled breathing on ascenalng a hill or Sight of italrs great palpitation of the Heart Asthma, Bronchitis ana sore Throat shaking of the Hands and Limbs aversion to society and to business or study dimness of eye sight, loss of Memory, dizziness of the Head, Neuralgia, Pain in various parts of the body Pains in the back or limbs. Lumbago, Dyspepsia or Indigestion, Irregularity of the bowels, tions of the Kidneys and other as Leucorrhoeaor Fleur .dlbuB. lepsy, iTyeteria and Nervous Spasms

Now in ninety nine cases out of every one hun dred, all the above named disorders, and a host others not uied, as Consumption of the Lungs an that most sidions and wily form of Consumption of the Spinal Nerves, known as Tabes Dorsales, and Tabes mesenteries, have their seat and origin in diseases of thrfPelyic Viscera. Hence the want success on the part of old school practice in treating symptoms only.

Dr. Andrew 8tone, Physician to the Troy Lung and Hygieniclnstitutlon, is now engaged in treating this class of modern maladies with the most astonishing success. The treatment adopted by the Institution is new it is based upongcientlflc principles with new discovered remedies, without minerals or poisons. The faculties of cure are such that patients can be cured at their homes, in any part of the country, from accurate descriptions of their oases, by letter ntidhave .he medicines sent by Mall or express. Printed intmoga'ories will be forwarded on applieation.

Consumption, Catarrh and diseases of the throat cured as well at the home of the Patients aact the Institution, by sending the cold Medicated Imuxnio BALSAMIC VAPORS, witn inhaler and ample directions for their use, and direct correspondence.

Patients applying for Interrogates or ad-wee, must eoclose return stamps, to meet attention. The attending Physician will be fouud at the Institution for consultation, from 9 a. m. to 9 p. in., each day. Sunday in the forenoon.

Boomi at the XSuntin Hoiiae. Dr. Gouden will devote speoial attention to the treatment of Cancer and Cancerous affections. In calling attention to iny Cancer Antidote, a new treatment for Cancer, permit me te say that it the most wonderful discovery ever made in medi ine. It is the great desideratum so long sought for by the Medical Profession and the afflicted vritb cnncer. Its operation is truly astonishing, without a parallel, and is the only known antidote to cancer and all oancerous afflictions the modus operandi of the antidote is appurently by entering Into the chemical composition of the cancer, cancerous, milienantor unhealthy growth, thereby removing all life and vitality, aiuidotlng, killing and destroying the cancer, every particle root and fibre belonging to It, without pain or the use of the knife without caustic eating or burning without the loss of blood, or in the leant affecting the sound flesh. It can be applied to the naked eye or an open wound, as easily and freely as water. By this means large cancers can be removed from vital parts, the eye, large blood vessels, Ac., where no other treatment could possibly be nscil and In doing so we feel assured of making permanent cures when all other treatment fails The medical fraternity and all interested are Invited to call, and 1 will exhibit a Urge number of cancers that 1 have thus rcmovod and preserved, and IT desired will reler to hundreds of cases cured throughout he countrr.

Consumption, Asthma, Bronchitis, Pharyngitis, and all afluctions, treated by Inhalation, or otherwise. Particular attention paid to oil diseases of the Eye and Kar. such as partial blindness or deafnesq. either acute or chronic. From J. Newluit, UD., Editor oj ttu• En cyclopedia of UUig'wus Knewledyc. Although not disposed to favor or recomim-oO Patent Medicines in general, through distrust ul their ingrt'dieuts and efleole I yet know of no sulB- 1 cient reason why a man may not testify to the benotlt he believes himself to have received from any simple preparation, in the hope that he may thus contribute to the beuefit of others. 1 do this tho more readily iu regard to Hooiland's German Bitters, prepared by Dr. u.
