Sale Begins Saturday, October 5th

Right in the heart of the season, when the store is full of new goods, we come to you with a sale that really means something to you. Not a sale of cheap merchandise bought especially for the purpose, but a stock of the very highest class of goods procurable. Much of it bought before the recent heavy price advances, and every item priced to make you come and wonder how we can do it.

Do you wonder why we cut prices right at the beginning of the season? Don't wonder any longer. We'll tell you. Of course you know that this stroe was reorganized and incorporated under the laws of this State a few weeks ago, and is now a co-operative concern. There is going to be many changes in the next few months, changes for the better. Some departments from upper floors moved down—some from lower floors moved up—and then listen—we're going to add several entirely new departments. All these changes are going to take place soon. We're making preparations avery day. In order to make these changes we must close out at least half of our stocks. Then we will have room to make alterations, build new departments,^ etc. So we're making a radical move. One that will sweep goods from our heavily laden shelves and counters like a cyclone. "Quick action"—that's what we

have it by making prices so low that we will crowd the store with eager buyers from the minute the doors swing open for the big event. 'Really big sales like this will be do not get under heavy headway like a train—they're off full speed from the start like a landslide. Five minutes after the doors are open the aisles will be filled with customers and the sale will be under full headway all over the store. Can't help being with such ridiculously low prices as we quote here. Each day of the sale there will be new and different things too as different as breakfast, dinner and supper—with a fresh bill of fare each day.
