Haul Road Meeting. It is sincerely hoped a meeting of tltc citizens of the town and country, which has been invited this day at one o'clock, p. m. at the Hotel f J. O. Clark, will not be neglected. The object to bccftectcd is important, and all who feel an interest in the luiure prosperity of the town, should attend. At ho election in Vint enncs Township, fn Saturday last, for a Magistrate fur said Township, Samuel Hill, was elected by a considerable majority. The Legislature of Tennessee have passed resolutions denouncing the West Point Militarv Academy, as a needless and expensive institution. The Legislature of Indiana is now in session Will they follow so good an example? At a meeting vl the citizens of Gibson county, held at the court-house in Princeton, on Saturday the 30th day of Nov.
