The steam boat Facility, from Cincinnati arrived at this place on Sunday, landed passengers, and proceeded up the Wabash. Same day, arrived steam bat Highlander, from Louisville, and after laying too a short time, proceeded up. The steamboat, Virginian, from Latayctt, ariivedon Wednesday last, received on board some loading and passengers, and left same

Siiificc it to say, then, that the work is progressing, and will be completed as socn as a due regard to correctness will permit. We deem it unnecessary to beg the patronage of cur fellow citizens to this work, as we feel confident (from the patronage already received) they will take a pleasure in giving it their s-ippoi t, especially when they consider it is the production of their own, and not cf another state. To those who have not had an opportunity cf cxaminine the Manuscript, we would say, that .t
was presented to the members ot tne i.egisiaom., at their session of 1829, and pronounced to be correct, and as an evidence, we refer to their signatures en the prospectus, or to the Representatives themselves, residing in the different sections of 'he State. Great pains have been taken to obtain correct information in relaton to the North part of the
State; and we are much incepted to those gentlemen who have long been engaged in the Indian
