THE I.V'E 6' TIGjI 770 A. The following is the conclusion of the pro ceediugs of the senate of Kentucky, on the subject of u The Bargain," which we copy from the Argus of the 13th Februaiy. Tuesday, ffb. 5. Mr Wic .-,'ijft- offered a resolution rescinding the rule o the senate requiring two thirds to concur in dispensing with the otders of the d .y The motion was opposed by Messrs. Daviess, P fie Dud ley, on the ground that it was intended to operate on toe special case beloie ihe senate, and that all such legislation is improper. The hour of 12 o'clock having artived, the speaker called up the orders oi the day The resolutions in relation to Internal Improvements and the administration were first in the orders, were consi epientiy taken up Jtr Daviess moved to admit and examine certain witnesses now in attendance. Some discussion took place on this subject, in which it was insisted that the inquiry ought tube brought to an end because the session is approaching to its close, and if is proper
that the legislature should express its opinion
upon the subjects invol
