Beauchamp, and of the suicide committed by his wife. Bcauchamp also made an attempt upon his own life, but did not succeed Isaac B. Desha, son of the Governor, has done an -act of public justice -which, in any other stale, would have been long since pei formed by the common hangman. FRANKFURT, JULY 8. Bcauchamp, the assassin of Col. Sharp, has expiated his crimes. The sentence of the law was executed Upon him at the iovk ol the Lexington and "Woodford roads, in the edge of Frankfort, at half past one o'clock yesterday. An idea had onc abroad, thai he would address the people, at the gallows ; but he made no at cmptof the kind ; he was evidently, too feeble, probably rendered so by his attempt to commit suiede, by taking laudanum and bv stabbing himself. Soon after arriving at the place of ex ccution, he observed that he wished to die; and requested the music which belonged to two independent companies, which had ben called out to pidci ve order, to pb.y ' Buunapart's retreat from Moscow," which having heard he desired the officers to perform the execution and took h i 3 d e a t h .
