Thc Austrian troops, kept in Naples; arc to be reduced to 12,000 men. Thcofliccrs share, of the " Decean prize money,' is estimated at two milli" ons sterling. It is stated that Spain is making a great effort to send three thousand troops to Cuba. The late accounts of thc splendid victories of the Greeks seem to be amply confirmed and yet there are rumor of some reverses. Thc delegates who lately met at Staunton, Va. to deliberate on the expedicixy of holding a convention to amend the constitution, were unanimous in recommending that measure. They passed resolutions specifying the amendments they desire, which are to abolish the governor's council; to extend thc right of suffrage; and make the white population the basis of representation.
