The number of blacks in the United States is about two millions; and their annual increase is said to be 50.000 One of the counties of Georgia, named liberty, contains, according to the census recently taken, 1 6S5 free persons, and 1.755 slaves! What a difinition of Liberty! The county of Madison, Alabama, contains a population of 22 066; of this number 10689 are considered personal property! The state of Missouri contains SO 677 souls, ol which 13,330 are slaves!
