Jackson also unites in his favor no contemptible portion of our population, it becomes therefore, incumbent on his friends to unite in the formation of a ticket for electors in or der to give full effect to their exertions. To tnat purpose a central meeting of delecrates authorised to form a ticket is a measure winch has been adopted as best conducive to union, the propriety of which is obvious. The choice of such delegates is the ohicct of the urcsent meetinir.
