Governor's communication on Rinks, and the accompanying documents. i Ti the Xf. nufr nr.d Home rf I'cfircscntdtive., The details herewith submitted to the general assembly in relation to the state bank and branches, are not to ho considered as minutely correct. They are substantially correct as it regards the branches, but the state of the hooks of the Vincennes bank, was not such as to afford accurate information on all the subjects required, inasmuch as many of the running accounts w ere not bal anced. It is remarkable that the Brook ville branch, by negotiation added to the amount of its paper in circulation, during the month of March hut, notwithstanding the assurance given in behalf of that institution on the 9th of November, 1821. JONATHAN JENNINGS.

BrookvitL', 26, 1S21. The Cashier will give me a statement under oath with regard to the disagreement between the Vincennes and Brookv die banks as appears on the face of their reports of the lnti of November by Vincennes bank, and 3Uth Sept. LS2U, by Hi ook ille branch bank, and whether the excess charged to the latter has been issued on said branch by the Vincennrs bank. W hether if such issue has taken place, it has been with the kr.ow'vdge and consent of the directors of this b:mch ? Whether the President ov Cashier ot tins branch bank have been notified of any issue as above described by the oincersof the Vincennes bank? Whether the paper h.o issued on this branch, or any part thereof, has been placed to its credit by the hteam Mdl Company, or exchanged with the said Company for its paper? Whether the amount which thus may have been issued by the bank of Vincennes and paid to the Steam Mill Company was not embraced in the report of the 0ih Sqt. last, under the item of foreign bank paper deposited in this branch bank, or as a deposit in loreigm banks to its credit ?
