Never failing and healthy Springs, Stone Coal and building Rock.aro in abun ance around it ; the falis in the river afford every facility to water works adjoining the town, where a giist and saw mill are now in rapid operation. L'Emberras is easily navigable to this place, whenevei the Wabash can be ascended to Vinccnnta ; the surrounding country is inhabited by thriving Sc in dustrious farmers, nd is fast increasing in population, riches and consequence. Lawrenccville bids lair to become a town of greai manufacturing interest when people will resolve to conform to the situation of their country ; when American will adopt their only national policy , and learn to exist upon the resources they possess within themselves, then will this place, from its natural advantages, be with few rivals in the west. The town is laid off on a liberal plan, and offers every inducement to purchasers. Plsts may be obtained by application to the Commissioners or T.
