Singular coincidence - The legislature Pennsylvania in each of the last ten years, has continued in session four months, & each session passed 170 acts. The constitution of Massachusetts requires the legislature to oblige the several towns, &c. to maintain public worship and opliges every citizen to pay for its support. A very extraordinary large breed of geese has been imported from the north of Britain by some gentleman in Baltimore. The cotton manufactory at Waltham, near Boston is one of the largest in the United States. They consume about 1000,000 pounds of cotton annually, and 200 looms are kept in constant operation by water.
