BE it enacted bv the Senate and House of Reftresentatrves of the United States of America in Congress assemblt n, That there be refunded and paid to Robert K, 1, ot Philadelphia, the sum of six hundred and fifty-three dollars and twenty -nine cents, and to Seth Webber and to Thomas Page, of Boston, the sum of three hundred and thirty-eight dollars and sixtv-s;x cents ; the said sums of money having been paid by the persons above mentioned, to the collectors of Philadelphia and Boston, on the importation into the United States of sundry copper bottoms, and bolts or bars, the same tot being by law subject to the payment of duties. Birdseye and Daniel Booti. all the right, title, and interest, acqiured by the United States in and to certain lands and buildings, situated in Derby, in the State of Connecticut, by the levy oi an execution, on the fourteenth of August, one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, against Nicholas Moss, on a judgment of the district court of the district of Connecticut, in August 1809 ; the president ofthe United States having, on the fourth day of June, ontj thousand eight hundred and fourteen, pardoned and remitted to the aforesaid M ss the judgment aforesaid; and the aforesaid Moss having by deeds duly authenticated for a good & sufficient consideration, on the twenty-ninth December, on thousand eight hundred and fifteen, co -veyed the r raises to the aforesaid Birds eye tnd Bo ah. Sec. 5. And be it further enacted That to make up the deficiencies of the appropriations heretofore made, for the purposes following, the several sums. respectively named, be, and the ire hereby, appropriated, payable out of an) moneys m the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to wit: To pay for the land, and erecting the lighthouse at Holmes' Hole, 63 dollars: For erecting a lighthouse on the south point of Cumberland Island, 7,000 dollars : Forerecting a lighthouse on the south point of Sapelo Inland, 2,50.5 dollars. Sec. 6. And be it further enacted. That the sum of 3,027 dollars be, and they arc hereby, appropriated, out of any money m tne treasury not otherwise appronriakeepers of the lighthouses within the LT. States ; to be applied, under the direction of the Secretary ofthe treasury, so as to fix the salary of each keeper aforesaid, at the rate of 350 dollars per annum. Sec. 7. Andbeit further enacted That the secretary of the treasury, in case he shall deem it expedient and proper, ma) cause the lighthouse heretofore authorised to be erected on the soath of S.tptdo Island, to be changed to, and placed on, Wolfe's Island March 3, 1819.
