And be it further enaett !x That there shad be appointed in the said district, a person learned in the law to act as attorney for the United States, who shall, in addition to his stated fees, be paid, by the United states, two hundred dollars, as a full compensation for all extra services. AN ACT for the relief of Hannah Ring and others. ¶ Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Unied States of America, in Congress assembled, That the act to provide for certain persons engaged in the land and naval service of the United States, in the revolutionary war, passed the eighteenth day of March, eighteen hundred, and eighteen, shall be construed to authorize the secretary of war to place on the pension list Jonthan Ring, a soldier in the revoluionary war, now insane, of the date of the eleventh day of July, eighteen hundred and eighteen, and that the receipt of the said Hannah Ring, his wife, during his insanity, shall be sufficient for the pension allowed by the said act, ¶ Sec 2. And be it further enacted, That the said act shall be also construed to authorize the secretary of war to place on the pension list John Frink, a soldier in the revolutionary war, now insane, of the first day of May, eighteen hundred and eighteen, and that the receipt of Luther Frink, his son, shall be sufficient for the pension allowed by the said act. ¶ Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said act shall be also construed to authorize the secretary of war to place on the pension list Abraham Edwards, a mariner in the revolutionary war, now insane of the date of the first of July, eighteen hundred and eighteen, and the receipt of Joseph Edvards, his son, shall be suficient for the pension allowed by this act. ¶ Sec.4. And be it further enacted, That the said act shall be also construed to authorize the secretary of war to place on the pension list Thomas Lucas, a soldier in the revolutionary war, now insane, of the date of the fourteenth of January, eighteen hundred and nineteen, and that the receipt of the wife of the Thomas Lucas, or his guardian, shall be sufficient for the pension allowed by the said act. ¶ March 3, 1819 — Approved, .
