for the disposal (agreeably to law) of the said lands, shall be held at Detroit, in "Michigan Territory, viz : On the first Monday in July next, for the lands contained in ranges, y, 10, 11, 12, and 13, south of the base line ; on t first Monday of September net tor the lands contained in ranges 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, north of the base line ; and on the first Monday in November not, for the lands contained in ranges 9. 10, 11, and 12, north of the base line, exec ptin 2 such lands as are, or may be reserved in said district, by law, for the Support of Schools, and for other purposes. The sales shall continue open for two w eeks and no longer, and shall commence w ith the first section of the lowest number of townships and ranges, 6c proceed in regular numercial order.

under the convention w ith France of the 30th of April, 180.1, common! called Louisiana Stock ; That one moiety, or half of te principal of said stock, will be redeemed on the 2 1st of October next ensuing the elate hereof and that the same will be paid to the respective pioprietors, or their attorneys duly authorised, on the dav before mentioned at the Treasury in Washington, or at such Loan Office, on the books, whereof any portion of said stock may then stand. Information it further given. That the interest due at the time of redemption, on such part of said stock as is held in Europe, will be paid as heretofore in London and Amsterdam ; and that the interest on such part of said stock as has been domesticated will be paid at the srme time with the principal, either at the Treasury or at the Loan Office as before mentioned.
