TAXES. NOTICE The City of Washington Gazette will commence pub;iction on Monday the 27th of October 1817 ; the size of the sheet to be superroyal, handsomely printed, and to be issued daily, and three times a week, namely, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The principles and conduct of this paper will be liberal and independent. It is intended to furnish the regular business of congrees, the deb tes as far as practicable, wit!. out partiality ; and generally all interesting matter relating to the legislative and xecut?ve branches of the government of the United States ; treaties, state papers, and all official information, will be printed at large, wit hi a copious selection of foreign and domestic news. The prospectus, published in most of the newspapers of the United S ates, contains a further outline of the plan 5c a declaration of the politics ot'the editor. The price, daily, will be ten dollars per annum : and thrice a week, five dollars per annum. The papers will be well packed, snd regularly transmitted to any part of the United States. Advertising on the usual terms.
