Smle oi Lois in the Town of V 0 R AT, V H HIS town has lately been laid out on an elegant Bluff, situated on west fraction No. 4, Townships North, Range 1 1 West, on the West Inmk of the Wabash river) adjoining the Union Prairie, wine!', pi. ice in all stages of the water affords a safe harbor for boats The numerous advantages Which this place embrai es, renders it as valuable, or more so. tlem any town recently laid out on said river the beauty and richness of soil which the Prairie affords, the hue v ater prospect, the abundance of stone coal, a quarry of lime stone and stone for building, the best of clay for brick, and a o;ood tiact of land, with a trreat supply of timber, are its peculiar advantages, and what renders it still more elligible for a town, is the handsome stream of water called Mill creek, crossing at the head of said Prairie, on which stream there will be a Grist and Saw-Mill in o e ration in the course of next summer, ail of which privileges are convenient for the establishment of said town. In surveying the .town of york, cere has been taken to provide every convenience for the purchasers, as to the size of the lots, w idth of the Streets, Alleys, See. and a liberal appropriation has been made for public uses. Terms of Salt . The lots ill be sold at public auction to the highest bidder, on the 20th day of March next, at the house of Israel Harris, on the premises.
