SATURDAY, Public Notice, IS hereby given that the feveral [sic] acts of congrefs [sic], paffed [sic] at their laft [sic] feffion [sic], laying certain internal duties, will take effect from acd after the 31st day of December, 1813, the provifions [sic] of which muft [sic] be complied with, on pain of incurring the penalties attached to a violation thereof. - Thefe [sic] provifions [sic] requires retailers of wines, fpiritu-[sic} ous liquors or foreign merchandize [sic], to make application in writing for, and to obtain a licenfe [sic]; owners of fuperintendants [sic] of ftills [sic] intended to be worked, to make application it writing for, and obtain a licenfe [sic]; auctioneers to enter into bond, and under certain circumftances [sic] to take out a licenfe [sic]; refiners of fugar [sic] to enter into bonds; owor keeper a of carriages to enter into the fame, and obtain a certificate of the payment of the duty; and defcounted [sic] notes and bonds, together with bills of exchange to be framped [sic]. - Perfons [sic] interfred [sic] herein may examine the faid [sic] laws at my office, where the mode of making application and duties payable, with other circumftances [sic] proper for them to be acquainted with, may be learned. NOTICE, On the firft [sic] day of February next, I will put my accounts andnotes into proper officers hands for collection; with out a refort [sic] to this method I will not be able to meet contracts, I hope my friends will not poftpone [sic] payment longer than that day, for juftice [sic] will nto allow any diferi mination [sic]. Daniel Sulivan 29th December, 1813 WILLIAM L. COLMAN Has on hand & for sale a large quantity of Monongahalia Whif- [sic] Strong Beer, fkey, Cider Royal, Green and dried Apples. Caftings [sic], Crockery Ware, Tin ware, Woolen socks, Shoes aflorted [sic], Wrought Iron, Salt Fith [sic], Wool hats, Window Glafs [sic], Gun Gun Power [sic], Cotton Cards, Together with many other articles, all of which I will fell [sic] low for CASH or good corn fed PORK or Venefon [sic] Hams. Vincennes, December 30th, 1813. ALL thofe [sic] indebted to me are requefted [sic] to come forward and make immediate payment W. L. C. A Good Bargain, For fale [sic] on reafonable [sic] terms, the farm on which I now live, containing 216 acres, well improved, a good bearing orchard, good water, and in high cultivation, within fix [sic] miles of Vincennes, adn in a good inclined to purchafe [sic] will (Grift) vifit [sic] the pre thought un neceffary [sic] - terms may be known by appli- cation to the fubfcriber [sic] on the premifes [sic].
