A ration to coniiR of one pound and one quarter of beef, or three quarters of a pound cf falted pork, eighteen ounces ot bread or flour, one gill of rum, whifltey or brandy, ai.d at the rate of two quaits of fait, four quarts of vinegar, foui pounds of foap, and one pound and a hall oi candles, to every hundred rations.
