Berklv h id received difpatches from Gibraiter, which dated that part of adm. Collingwoods fleet of 7 fail, had fallen in with the Toulon fleet of 8 fail of the line, with 18 tranfports, that 5 or 6 of the line of battle fhips had been captured, and all the tranfports. The Britilb fullered much in the lofs of men and in the rigging of the (hips. The French fleet were bound to Barcelona. BALTLmIuT:, Jan. 13. By the fhip Augidlus, Bolter, arrived this morning in a fhort paffage from Lilbon, we' learn, that the Britiih admiral who purfucd the Toulon fleet, had captured 15 faii of tranfports, and 5000 troops, befides dedroying the federal line of battle lhips before reported. The Spaniards, under gen. Blake, had marched agai nil Madrid with an army 20,000 llrong, about the 30th November, they met and engaged the French army. After a lev ere battle, the patriots were rcpulfed with the lofs of 5000 men. Troops were marching from Lifbon, ckc. to reinforce the armies on the frontiers. Lord Willing, ton's health having been regained during hi day in Lilbon, he had returned to the army. Several divilions of the French grand army, it was reported, had returned from Germany ; but captain Potter had not learnt that any of them had entered Spain. A ibort time before
