Miffouri Indian from the low-
St. Louis Nov. 19. Extradt of a letter from mr. David fobinfon, dated fort Ofage, Nov. 8th, 1809. On the 4th of this infK a hunting party of the Ofage tribe, confifting of five men, and four women, croired the Miflouri river, ftom the fort, to the north eaft fide ; they were furprifed by a party of rheloway's, who killed one man and two women, and an other man is miffing, fuppofed to be killed fome diffance from their camp. Next morning captain Clemfon, with a derachment of fifteen men, Dr. Murray and myfelf, were conducted to the fatal fpot, by fome of the party who had efcaped, we found one man and two women butchered in
