^The following singular relation' of facts has just been handedus for publication by Gen EVANS, who has just returned to this place from the residence of Judge Prince, in Gibson County from the known respectability of tbe writer, we consider the statentents entitled to the fullest credit,
To the Editors of the Evansville Gazette
Gentlemen—On the 14th inst. I witnessed one of the most extraordinary pheoomenons perhaps, ever witnessed in any age. On my arrival at Princeton on the evening oi the Isth inst. 1 was informed by Doctor Thompson and several other gentlemen of hjgh'respectability, that a young orphan girl, aged 12 or 18 years resident in the family of the Hon. William Prince, about seven miles from Princeton, on the 7th inst. commenced sweating blood or in other words, the blood run freely from the pores of the skin oC her left cheek, from a space considerably larger than a dollar that it continued this way until the evening of the th inst. when it ceased that on the' morning of the 12th a largo drop of black blood, the size of a large bean, suddenly emitted from her cheek below the eye, to which was attached sundry fbres, tejidons, or some thing which resembled the legs of a large spider, Iegsj or fibres appeard to possess life, by their m&nne< of contracting and extenjJ^g themselves, something similar to

that shortly afterwards a lump of pure clean ftesh. about the size of a large pea, -uddenlv emitted from the same place, andjn a few minutes a solid, firm piece bone, near one fourth of an inch square, suddenly proceeded Irom the same place, und that no hole, opening, ov appearance from whence these sub s.ances emitted, could possibly be dis*u
