Can you tell me, Mr. Editor, what has bocome ot Mr. E. Case, that be does not continue his letters to "Senator Sage.” The public had just began to Tec', an interest in those let ten, when they were brought to a sudden stop, ns it would seem. His last letter had the effect to open the eyes of many, who before did not understand who, dr what a “native American” was; bnt’sinCe they have read the would-be. Senator's definition, they are hot disposed To 'edm mingle with such “hanimals,” as he say's, are native Americans. Catit you whisper in bis ear, to go ahead Vith bis letters? They were so very interesting, and instructive with all, that be should he induced, if possible, to continue them. Be sides, they would help increase the circulation of the “News," which you know would be s great public benefit I hope he wil! be induced to “grasp his old grey goose quill” again, and give ns a few more specimens of his “classic acumen."
