The Speeches at Qucrcus drove. Among other things dona at the AntiProhibitory Law meeting in Posey township, several speeches were made. Mr. Case made about half a dozen short speeches; Col. Pepper spoke two or three times, and one James Rickets made a tremendous effort to make a great display of wisdom and learning. We took a few notes of hia speech; and will give our readers a specimen of hie style. It was said that he had made a speech on Grant's Creek a night or two previous, and judging from his style aud tho documents he curried, we presume him to he the exponent of tlie Anti-Prohibitory Law party in Ohio and Switzerland counties. But after hearing him, wc conic to the conclusion that he was either a fool himself, or ’ thought the people assembled there were fools.
