aggregate "wet" majorities are only 5,650 votes. Next year the people of Indiana will elect a new Governor and a new Legislature. S ntiment is now being crystalized concerning the platforms and candidates to be submitted to the voters at these elections. Tho combined liquor interests are secretly at work throughout the state counseling silence on the temperance question; their agency is the professional politicians who are seekers after office and who are anxious to have platforms and candi dates which will give no offense to these interests. Those opposed to the open saloon must no longer remain silent; the time is at hand for the people to speak on the temperance question, free from the counsel or control of mere politicians. For this purpose the voters of Indiana, regardless of party allegiance, are called upon to
meet in Delegate and Mass Convention at Tomlinson Hall in the city of Indianapolis, on the fifth day of December, 1011. There will be two sessions of the convention; the first
' convening at one-thirtv o'clock p. I m., and the second at seven o'clock ! p. in. A program of notable speak-
