Singrey and daughter Violet who will spend a few days at Chicago. V SHOT IN FACEAlva Jackman. 12 Year Boy Gets 22 Ball in Jaw and Still Lives. Alva Jackman, a 12 year old boy living about six miles north of Plymouth, was accidentally shot in the face with a 22 caliber revolver Tuesday about noon and yet was not killed. J IJ -Herbert Espich, 17 years old, was cleaning his revolver and "thought it was unloaded." He asked Jackman to get him some oil. Aiva said U rf drew hig revolyer on Wm in un and said, "I'll shoot you if you don't," and pulled the trigger. The, revolver fired a 22 caliber! ball which struck Alva in the jaw just under the noje, Knocked out a front tooth and lodged in the bone of the jaw. Dr. Stephens was called and af ttr probing, extracted the battered ball. The boy seems to feel little , effect of the wound, though if it had not struck his jaw bon he would have been killed. He has been claim agent for that corporation for some time, having begun his service in Cleveland. He was promoted and sent to Chicago, some time ago and now comes a second important promotion to the New oYrk city 'office of the company Mr. Adomeit expects to lave for his new place about the first of next year.
