Reformed Church Notes. The Easter social on Friday evening was a great success both socially and financially. The proceeds amounted to about $23. A prominent feature of the entertainment was the splendid musical program arranged by Miss Gladys Hoover, president of the society. Those who participated were as follows: Mandalin solo by
Mahlon Shadley accompanied on the
piano by Ethel York, piano duet by Lillian Hahn and Glen Wilkinson, song by junior girls of S. S., piano solo by Bertha Jewel, vocal solos by Esther Stockgen, and George Harker. The enjoyments of the evening were introduced by an appropriate season of devotion in which the pastor read a scripture lesson and Rev. A. H. Leisz offered prayer. It was a time of most pleasant enjoyment to all present. The sunrise prayer meeting on Easter morning, led by Mrs. Bosworth was well attended. Earnest enthusiasm with free and sincere participation impressed all with an evident sense of true spiritual blessing. The Ladies' Aid Society will meet at the home of Mrs. J. N. Wilson on Tuesday evening, April 18. All are cordially invited.

Three persons were injured badly in an automobile accident a mile south of Rochester Sunday afternoon about three o'clock. De Vere Wise was driving the Wise auto, going south below Rochester when the machine struck a dog in the road. The shock turned the auto which ran down a steep embankment, turned turtle, righted itself and when it stopped was turned back towards Rochester, with the engine still running. De Vere Wise had his left arm broken, his left side injured, his head hurt and his whole left side bruised. Ruby Lacher had a small bone in her ankle broken and was also badly bruised. Minnie Kyser had her head and face bruised and scratched. The other occupants of the car were not hurt at all though badly scared and shaken up. They were Lochren Wise, Walter Nelson, Pearl Freyman. The machine was not badly damaged. The front axle was sprung, the
glass shield smashed and one lamp
broken. It was run into the Ross garage at Rochester and repaired so it eonld be run home. The party and machine all arrived in Plymouth by seven o'clock. The auto is at the Keller & Jeffirs garage. Dr. Knott happened to be in Rochester, with a party out driving. They were just about to return home when they heard of the accident. Dr. Knott immediately went to the scene to assist. Gus Kuhn Makes Fast Run. Mr. Wise was telephoned about the
accident, but did not get particulars
and did not know whether anyone was killed or not. He went to Kuhn's garage for a machine to take him to Rochester. Gus Kuhn happened to come in from a drive and his father sent him with Mr. Wise to Rochester. Gus put the machine to its limit of speed and tore through the country and the towns like mad. He was just 28 minutes going to the scene of the
accident a mile below Rochester---21 miles in all and made a full stop in Rochester. This made the astonish-
ing speed of practically a mile a
minute for the running time. He
drove the two seated car with Mr.
Wise and Arthur Cleveland as pas-
sengers.
Dr. Knott brought Pearl Freyman
back in his car and Gus Kuhn
brought Walter Nelson, Minnie Kyser
and Ruby Lacher. Gus had gone so
fast through Argos that he feared
arrest on his return. They stopped
there to light up and a crowd at once
gathered about the car which was recognized. When it was learned the
cause of the fast run, there was no
more thought of arrest.
