his vest pocket.
The second body examined was that of a man
supposed to be between 25 and 30yeais of age, had on a blue broad cloth coat, striped worst-
vest, striped gingham shirt, pleated bosom, fustian overalls, coarse white wollen socks, email
cotton handkerchief, and coarse shoes, which
had been half soaled, striped cotton under pan
taloons. One Mexican dollar, one Eagle half
dollar, one twenty-five cent piece,-two twelve
and a half cent pieces, four ten cent pieces, one
jack knife, and one pmt bottle, were found about
the body. The bodies were much disfigured, so that the
features could not be recognized. The verdict
of the Jury was accidental death , by drowning.

A French gentleman, after having been a
broad in foreign countries for many years, re turned to his native land. His friends inime

this manner;
Gentleman, you are aware that it is a great

of said decedent, was insufficient to pay the outstanding debts against the same, and that said decedent died seized of no real estate, out of which
said debts could be satisfied reported the same
to the court aud filed an inventory of the debts aforesaid, so far as they have come to my knowledge; as also a statement of the assets belonging to said estate in my possession, out of which said debt arc to be paid so far as the same will go,
and pray ea said court for relief in tho premises.
Now, if any of the creditors of said estate shall
fail to notify said administrator of the existence and extent of their respective claims, by filing
the same or a statement of the naturci description
and date of the contract or assumpsit, upon which
the same may be founded, in the office of the clerk
of said court, provious to the final distribution of
the assets of the estate aforesaid, such claims will
be postponed in favor of more diligent creditors
