Methodist Hold Prayer Chain During the Northwest Indiana Annual Conference, of the Methodist Church, in session at Purdue University West I-ifayette. Bishop Richard C. Raines re(piests the churches of the entire area to participate in a prayei chain. Walkerton Methodist will be asked to observe its one hour of prayer from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Friday June Bth. Mrs. Stanley Orcutt, president of the Women's Society of Christian Service, chairman of the pt aver meeting, lias at ranged to hold this hour of service in the church office. Members of the society of the church and the church, also any friends, are asked to set aside this hour and meet in th< church for prayer. The many areas of Christian service in which the church is engaged, will be remembered in the service. Church stalls, missionaries, lay and clergy alike will he included in the petitions of intercessary prayer.
