Honors 25-Year Members Mrs. Wayne Dipert, Worthy Matron of O.ES. opened the regular meeting Tuesday evening with a friendship poem and welcome to three ‘sitors, Mrs. Lee Welch and Mrs. Louis Kemp, of Walkerton and Mrs. Fthel Simmons of Chicago. Mrs, Walter Jackson protemed in the station of Associate Conductress and Mrs. Glen Stahly in the station of Ruth. Tt was voted to serve the Past Masters dinner October 28, also the All Degree Day dinner in March. Mrs. Dipert prepsented her with a pink rose corsage and gift., In reply, Mrs. Verkler related some interesting memories of past years of Walkerton Chapter, and said she had been installed 25 times as an officer, including 17 vears as secretary. She will receive her jewel of gold at the inspection in November. Three 25-vear members Mrs. Harry Doll Mrs. Amos Bierly and Mrs. Lamar Stahly were escorted to the east and Mrs, Dipert, Mrs. Earl Smith, conductress; and the five star points read poems of love and service to them. Mrs Ewart Farrar who was Werthy Matron the year they were initiated, presented them with corsages and their 23. year pins. Five ladies answered the birthday call. Refreshments of ice cream and cake with either gold “50" or silver “25" on them were served. The tables were decorated with red roses and streamers. The table of the honored guests had standup letters in styrofoam bases of the years honored. Hostess were Mr. and Mrs. David Mellin, Mrs. Robert Flaugher and Mrs. Arthur Schmeltz. The October 17 meeting will honor the Rainbow Girls and Mr. and Mrs. Al Drews Drive carefully always.

Cub Scouts Hold . Pack Meeting Cub Scouts hei. their first Pack meeting of the scason Friday night at the Youth Building and celebrated getting together again by hiking four miles to Stuntz Pine Forest Saturday for A wiener roast, Conducting the program Friday nigh® was Elmer Hunt, the Cub masier for the past several yvears. Introduced was Casimer Stasko, also active for some time as community chairman. Raymond Powers was introduced as treasurer and Mrs. John Groves In charge of records. Twelve new Cubs were \wel--comed into the Pack and were formed into two new dens headed by Mrs. Paul Ludwig and Mrs. Harry Maistaff. Other den mothers are Mrs. Roy QeSimone, Mrs. Casimer Stasko, Mrs. William Bellinger, Mrs. Donald Stafford and Mrs. Leßoy Johnson. Den 1 advanced the colors in the opening ceremonies and Den 2 retired the colore. Den 6 gave 4 most interesting demonstration on how to fry some bacon and €gLgs on a tin can burner, also pancakes, and how to make the burner and candlewick inside. Den 1 demonstrated coal chemistry and Den 2 showed how they made individual first aid kits for the Cubs to carry with them. Den 5 showed how they made decorated cups and planters. Mrs, Stasko led the group singing. Many parents were present to pin new badges on their children as they were called forward.
