It is with very’ deep regret to report tne passing of Mrs. Margaret Hartke, age 55, who died Saturday morning at Holy Family hospital, LaPorte, aft<\r a • short illness. She is survived by her husband. Elmer; also her mother, Mrs. Wilma Schudorick, Michigan City; three daughters, Mrs. Leis Stradtruir of South Bend, Mrs. Janet Cook, Michigan City, and Mm. Jane Kuzdzal of West Des M< nes, lowa, three sisters, Mrs. Manon Kimmel, LaPortc, Mrs. Janet Tiedman and Mrs. Phyllis Hedstrom, both of Michigan City and eight grandchildren. Mm Hartke s remains were viewed at Nusbaum s Funeral Home, Walkerton, on Sunday, and aft< r 2:00 pm. Monday at the Hummer and White Mortuary. Michigan City, where funeral .services were held Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery, Michigan City. Mrs. Hartke moved to our community 5 years ago and has been a very aggressive worker in the community, being immediate past president of Koontz LikcOregon Twp. Fire Dept. Auxiliary’, Vice president of Koontz Like Conscrvaticn Club, a member of Oregon Twp. Homo Econ ones Club and Community Club of Walkerton. Her wide circle of friends will mourn her sudden passing.
