These patrols are vary carefully selected and trained so that they will know how to do their job The} are leaders in their school so that they will hav.» respect, r r then schoolmates. Tht purpose of a school patr 1 is to remind the thoughtless and heedless that they must stop and look before crossing the street Th«'y aid all pedestrians bj watching for gaps in traffic that they may know when it Is safe to cross. If you have a bt y or gin in school, talk with them about the patrol and remind them to watch for these little helpers and obey their instructions.
