Mrs A. J. Kennedy is in Indianapolis caring for her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Sullivan,' who is ill. Mr. and Mi's. Arthur Harrison were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Bowmars. Mrs. Louis Houser returned to her home Saturday afte’r 10 days as a patient in Memorial hospital, South Bend. Mrs. Hazel Luke spent Sunday in Richmond. Ind., for a visit with her nephew, John Lindley, and family. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cripe Jr. were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Messick and Janet of LaPorte. Mrs. Gerald Stoner and children, Bruce, Craig and Marilyn, enjoyed a Week vacationing, camping and swimming at Indiana Dunes State Park on Lake Michigan. Mrs. Ben Brede entertained with dinner last Thursday for Mrs. Russell Hendrickscn. West Covina, Calif.; Mrs. Clyde Ricketts, Mrs. John Crambert and Mr. and Mrs. Newton Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reed and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Alwine were in Chicago over the week end, attending the Lions Club convention and the Westinghouse show. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lee of Evanston, 111., spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Chapman. On Monday they visited their sister a in Kewanna and Logansport. Miss Ellen Breed of Pecria, 111., left Tuesday after spending ten days with her classmate, Sherry Hiler. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Hiler and the two girls spent several days at Lake Wawasee. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bandendistel had as their guests Saturday and Sunday their daughter, Mrs. George A. Reusch 11, two sons. John and Tommie ,and her daughter-in-law, a new bride from Kassels, Germany, Mrs. Geodge A. Reusch 111, now at S. W. Mitchell, Ky.; also Mr. and Mrs. Harry Duffey, of Chicagc.

Mrs. Ben Brede spent the week end in Napierville, 111., with her bi-other and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkens. Mr. and Mrs. Donn Kelver and Greg ,of LaPorte. were Friday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Brown and Karen. They enjoyed a cook-out supper. Mrs. F. M. Dunn and Mrs. R. N. LaFeber motored to Marion Thursday to spend the day with Mrs. Golda Hustead. Mrs. Hustead was a fourth grade teacher here in 1951-52. Mr. and Mis. Newton Williams spent the last week end in Hastings, Mic^gan, as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Chase at Gun Lake. Miss Brenda Williams of Hickory Ridge, Ark., niece of Mrs. Hatty Gaddis, returned to her home after visiting relatives in AValkerton. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Short of Santa Clara, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Casperson of Niles, Michigan, spent a pleasant day at the lake with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Coleman. Mrs. Arthur Grote has returned from Ogden, Utah, where she visited her mother, Mrs. Kate Killian. She also visited her sisters and brothers and their families. Mr .and Mrs. W. G. Ring of Cheswick, Pa., are guests cf their daughter and family, Dr. and Mrs. Herbert Miller. They will visit for about two weeks. CHifford Hahn has been moved from Holy Family hospital, in LaPorte. to Augustana hospital, 409 W. Dickens St., Chicago. His condition has not improved in the past weoks. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Dill entertained at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Morris and Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Jack, honoring their twenty-fifth wedding anniversaries. Other guests were Margo and Craig Jack. Mrs. Lester Wade. Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. Ce< i] Williams, North Liberty, and Mr, and Mb's. R. N. LaFeber.
