the procession passed. Other relatives who were in Muncie for the day were Mrs. Beaty's husband, Leonard; mother, Mrs. C. W. Campbell of Belle Center, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Cloyd Felix of Lorain, O.; brother, Wm. B. Campbell and family, Van Wert, O.; and daughters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd .Freeland. South Bend, and Mr. and Mrs. Edgaj’ Cole of Walkerton. Mrs. Beaty's other daughter, Mrs. Richard Roberts and family, of Canoga Park, Calif., were not able to attend. Mrs. Beaty attended Oxford College for Women. Oxford, 0.. and Ohio State University where she prepared to teach Home Econcmics which she taught two years before marriage. After more than twenty years spent in raising a family, she returned to teaching but in the elemental} field which required a different type of training. This has been acquired a little at a t.me the past few years during the summer and teaching in the winter. Mrs. Beaty has taught in the lok\al school since 1940 and plans to teach fourth grade again this fall. Esther Cecrle Receives Diploma On Sunday. June 5. Esthei Cecrle was among thd 1400 graduates receiving degrees from Ball State Teachers' College. Muncie. Indiana. Esther received hei Bachelor of Science degiee in Educaticn. She was chosen one of the 35 outstanding seniors who are selected as outstanding in the classroom, as well as outstanding seniors who are select ed ag outstanding in the classroom and extra-curricular activities. This past year, Esther served as president of Alphi Chi Omega national social sorority; representative on the Pahhellenlc Council; member of Clavia, senior women’s honorary; and she
