Patricia Drake Wins Scholarship W ■ W jfl M MISS PATRICIA DRAKE Miss Patricia Drake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Drake, is the recipient of a scholarship awarded by the Indiana Congress *f Parents and Teachers, Inc., which will appropriate funds for the student Service Fee, books and other school supplies for her senior year at Indiana State Teacher's College, Terre Haute. The scholarship is awaj-ded on the following points Interest in teaching; Need, Scholarship; Character; Personality; and college activities. Miss Drake, a junior on the Special Music Curriculum, qualified in scholarship by maintaining an accumulative point-hour grade index of 3.3 R in a possible 400 system. In ordor to judge her character and personality, she was interviewed by the Scholarship Committee and had letters of recommendation from three faculty members. Patricia is very active on the campus as she is a member of: Newman Club; Student Education Association; Music Educator's National Conference; and A < apella choir. Besides, she is the secretary of Symphonic Band in which she plays first clarinet; Chaplain of Sigma Alpha lota, professional music honorary; and past historian, as well as present recording secretary of Sigma Kappa, social sorority.
