Lions Attend Convention At Culver Sunday Twelve members and guests of the Walkerton Lions Club attended the District Convention of District 25-G. In ana Li<m s Club. Sunday, on the c.inpus of the Culver Military Academy. in Culver, Indiana. The new Epplj Auditorium was the scene of tr.e meeting hosted by the Culver Lions Club. The Walkerton Club won the first plac e in the contest in Region No. 1. of District 25-G, determined on a point basis, for attendance, ac tivities and projects. President Lee Frailey accepted a nice Lums speakers rostrum from Distent Gov Tiior Howard Ritchey at the con< lusion of the evening session when the winners v. • re announced. Ate i followed at Hie Culver Inn for the ladies. The business session in the main auditorium was enjoyed by the Lions. At this time reports of the clubs in 25-G were given, officers were nominated for the coming State Convention and reports q£ the various committees heai-d. Following this, the men and women were free to visit the campus with guides furnished if desired. The group enjoyed this part very much as the Academy which has an enrollment of over SOO boys provides many interesting sites to visit. The banquet, was served later in the Mess

Fanner's Will Probe Property Tax Problem INDIANAPOLIS. More than 10.000 specially prepared booklets on the Indiana tax structure are being mailed this week t' local Farm Bureau leaders for use in more than 3.000 township dismission meetings.
