Rhodes. State Director of Selective Service, called the attention of all persons to the fact that th** law requires each young man to register for the draft on his eighteenth birthday or within five days thereafter. Their duty to register is not ex cused by membership in any re serve component of the Armed Forces, including the National Guard. The only excuse for not registering is if the man is actually on extended active duty in one of our Armed Forces, and then he must register within thirty days following his separation fron. a'- । tive duty. Colonel Rhodes warned that fading to register as required by law is a violation of a federal statute and may result in fine and imprisonment. Failure to register may also result in fine and imprisonment. Failure to register may also result in summary induction before the normal time. If a young man is away from home when he becomes eighteen, he may regi^* r at the office of any local board of the Selective Service System in the Halted States. His records will then be forwarded to the local

Anyone who's looked around knows the majority of Chevrolet models—Gs and together—list far less than comparable models of other low priced cars. But the price tag alone is only one of a whole raft of reasons a Chevy does better by your dollars. Nothing now* Chevy a aim and price can match the Full Coil cushioning of its ride, or the fine, finished workmanship of its Body by Fisher. That even applies to some cars that cost a lot more. You’re up in the higher price brack eta before you find u car that moves as quietly as a Chevrolet or offers the inner space that Chevrolet does. Or look al the extras Chevy gives you — al uu extra cost —that others in its class can't offer at any price. Shock-cushioned steering. Safety / '(qty Glass in every window. Keyless locking of all doors. Crankoperated vent windows. Chevrolet offers the widest choice of power teams, too. Drive a Chevy just once. You'll have a tough time sett ling for anything less. ■■LmJlB Far rtonomical transput tahun
