Name Delegates To Girl's State At Indiana Univ. Girl’s State chairman. Mrs. Robert Wardman, has announced the delegates to Girls State which will I* held in June at Indiana Diversity. Hoosier Girls’ state is an effort on the part of the American Legion Auxiliary to bring to the girls ot Indiana the knowledge of the fundamental principles of Indiana government through actual practice. Bhb. J JUDY ULLERY Judy Ullery has been chosen to represent Walkerton High School and Donna Bergstrom of Grovertown will represent Grovertown. The alternate for Judy is Deanne Merhiing with Karen Holm being the alternate for Donna. The case will be turned over to the St. Joseph County Juvenile Authorities to handle as no charges were made in Walkerton against the boy. South I Bend ami John Kloraski, route 2 I Walkerton, were involved in an accident on March 17 when Kring backed onto a highway into the path of Kloraski’s auto. Damage j was done to both cars. They succeeded in breaking one light at this time and returned to Walkerton After a p* ri >d of driving, they decided to return and break the remainder of the lights Tify not only before the w York Central lights, but a)*n rhe B O signals and in a short while drove east of Walkerton on I' S 6 and broke the signal lights of the Nickel Plate crossing on that road A phone call wa> made by an unidentified p*rs*»n at 2 15 am. Sunday morning about the signals being broken out on one of the tracks. At 3 20, the NYC. reported ti. Fir signals broken and at 5 00 a.m a B 4 O man was here and reported theirs The Nickel Plate reported theirs broken on Sunday afternoon. Taylor and Papp, both suffered cuts on their hands that led to the arrest o? the three. They had b**en called in by one of the officers after word was around that they were .nvolve*! in a fight, but released They wer® r« leased, but rt'callc*! when this damage had been discovered and questioned about the cuts on their hamis They confessed following this qu*s'tion ng and than wart taken to South Ben*! where the Indian* State Police mugged and fingerprinted the boys They were released then with the trial set Monday in Mishawaka City Court.
