Mrs. Wilma Hockett, La Porte, entertained her bridge club Tuesday night. Mrs .Bertha Urbin was a guest. Mr and Mrs. Robert Gardner and family were Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs. Richard Land in Wanatah Sunday. Mr. and Mrs Newton Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Reynolds of I-a Porte spent the week nd n St. Louis, Missouri, where the men participated in the Elks National Bowling Tourney. Mra. Cluade Watkins left for Tacoma. Washington, to be with her daughter, Sharon Stevens, who is the proud mother of a baby girl who weighed 7 lbs. 9 ozs., born March TO. which is also the 26th wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs. Claude Watkins, the maternal grandparents.
