INTERMEDIATE MYF ELECTS i At the last meeting of the Intermediate MYF of the Methodist Church, election of officers was
I held and are as follows: President | Pat Meltinos; vice-pres., Celesta :Lee Tunis; secy., Ellen Frame; itreas., Sheila Putman; song leader -Sue Eggleston. After the election, Sue Egglesto j led u s in a few songs. DoioHiy Barden read the scripture. Fat : Meltinos led us in a prayer. The lesson was about the origin ■of the song, "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", which was written .a s a poem by Joseph Scriven. We would like to thank Mrs. Stahly for our refreshments. MIT ELEC TS i For several weeks the MYF groups have met on Sunday al 6:00 p. m. for the Seniors and 7:00 p. m. for the Intermediates At the meeting Sunday night, the groups elected officers. Senior officers elected were: president, Pat Van Dyke; vice-pies,, John Whitmer; secy , Sandra Bonifacious; treasurer, Jerilyn Storey. i Sunday evening program will be in charge of Pat Van Dyke, with refreshments and fellowship time by Norman Stahly. ATTEND (ONI EREN(E Mr. and Mrs. C. Emmet Eiler and Rev. J. Kemp Tunis attended the Fall District Conference of South Bend District of the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon and evening. The conference convened in the Lowell Heights Methodist Church, South Bend. Business of the afternoon included the reports of the various groups of Kingdom service. Plans were presented for the raising of the Capital fund which will assist in the building of Wesley Manor, a new dining room for the Indiana Children’s Home, Lebanon, Ind., and many improvements to the campsites for the educational programs. The work in the project will begin in January and endeaver to complete same in spring. It is a
