Kay Annette Arseneau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mayotte Arseneau, of Walkerton become the bride of James G. Cheesbrough Jr., son of Mrs. Cecil Haggard of Clarkston, Washington, and Janies G. Cheesbrough Sr., of Kamiah, Idaho, on Saturday, August 1, at 2:00 p. m., at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lewiston, Idaho. The Rev. M. Corrigan officiated at the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a ballerina length gown of white nylon lace over taffeta. Her veil of nylon net was held in place by a crown of tiny seed peat Is and rhinestones. The bridal bouquet was a cascade of wliite gladioli and stphanitis with white satin streamers. The maid ol honor was Miss Eliza both Bassi of Oakland. Cal f. Her ballerina gown of pink lace

' The best man was the bridegroom’s stepfather, Cecil Haggard, ■ of Clarkston, Washington. Robert E. Lee of Kooskia, Idaho, cousin of the bridegroom, was usher. ' Mrs. Thomas Murphy of Clarks ton was organist. The church was decorated with ■ baskets of pink and white gladioli. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. ' Arseneau wore a dusty rose dress * of rayon brocade with a pink pic- ■ ture hat and pink and white acces- ' series. The bridegroom’s mother * chose a green linen sheath dress with white polka dots and beige ; accessories. Both had matching . corsages of white carnations. i A reception immediately followed
the cereniony in the home of the ! bridegroom’s mother and stepfath-l er„ in Clarkston, Washington. The three-tier wedding cake, punch and coffee were served by Miss Dolores 1 Cromer and Mrs. E. B. Stranahan of Lewiston, Idaho, and Mrs. Carroll Puyear of Clarkston. The couple received many lovely gifts. Relatives and friends were present from Clarkston* Washington: Lewiston, Kamiah and Kooskia, Idaho; Oakland, California and Walkerton, Ind. ' The bride was a 1956 graduate of Walkerton High School. Mr. Cheesbrough attended Lewiston High School. He recently received his discharge after serving four years in the U. S. Navy. He was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Wasp for two years and two years at th e Naval Air Station in Alameda, California. After a short honeymoon thiough Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington, the couple are at hom? at 1224 Maple Street Clarkston. Washington. ( ratt-HoL’erman The First Methodist church. Plymouth, was decorated with bouquets of white gladioli and palms in an atmosphere of cmcle light for the wedding of Miss Ruby Craft .and Harold Holdeman which took place at 2 p. m. Sunday, Sept. 6. The Rev. James Burroughs, pastor of the church, officiated for the double ring ceremony which united in marriage the daughter । of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Craft. 901 West Harrison street, Plymouth, and the son of Mr. and Ms. Charles Holdeman. R. R.. 2, Walk-; , erton. A prelude of nuptial music was ' played on the organ by Mrs. Hope Gates. Miss Carol Woodfill sangj i “With This Ring,’’ “I Love You, Truly’’ and “Wedding Prayer.” Given in marriage by her father, i Miss Craft was lovely in a ballerina gown of lace over taffeta com- [ plemented by a matching lace bolero with three-quarter length' sleeves and tiny buttons down the ( back. The bolero was worn over a sleeveless fitted bodice featuring a V-neckline. The wide band of lace at the waist was accented with silk ribbon falling gracefully onto the ballerina skirt. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was held in place by a tiara of white lace,. pearls and sequins, which was ac-i cented at the middle of the fore-j head by a drop pearl. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink and white snowdrift pompons. Mrs. James Williams of Lal’az was matron of honor and Miss Vickie Peregrine of Plymouth was bridesmad. Both attendants were identically attired in pink gowns of lace over taffeta styled similarly to the bridal gown with j the exception that they were worn i without the jackets. Their ma ch- : ing tiaras were accented by maline veils. They carried cascade bouquets of pink and white carnations. ; Roger Kelly, of LaPaz,. was best man. Ushers were James Williams pf LaPaz, Dave Shroeder and Dean Johnson, brother-in-law of the bride. I Mrs. Craft was attired in ab ue print dress with black acc ssories for her daughter's wedding. During the business session, Mrs, Emma Gouker was named a s delegate to the district meeting September 16 which will be he’d with Helena Rebekah Lodge in South Bend. They also elected a delegate, Mrs. Waiter Shores, to State Assembly in Indianapolis October 7 and 8. Mrs. Esther Dearing was elected to go as alternate.
