HIGH SCHOOL DROPS SEASON OPENER TO GROVERTOWNI2-9
Walkerton High School’s baseball team opened the season on an unimpressive note on Tuesday, September 1, with a 12-9 loss to Gro- ' vertown that was won handily by the Rams on errors. With the Indians committing 7 errors, Grovertown pushed across 10 of their 12 runs on the unearned basis. Walkerton scored first in the top . of the second, but Grovertown took the lead in their half of the inning with two runs. They added to their total in the bottom of the third

I am living and teaching within a half mile of the New Mexico State University Aggies. If is a beautiful place. Fortunately for me, I was introduced by a Florida friend to Pi of. and Mrs. Paul Mannan. He is head of the Art Department and has painted beautiful pictures of this Rocky Mountain area.
