Riicketts left for Pittsfield, Mass,, accompanied by their son, Robert. They will bo guests of Robert and his family there. 1 marriages । Barren - Deranek The marriage of Miss Bonnie L Barden and Leonard Deranek took place at 10 a. m. Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. South. Bend, with Rev. Joseph F. Murphy officiating. The bride is .lie daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Barden. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Chester Deranek, 507 Pulaski St. South Bend and the 1 late Mr. Deranek. j Baskets of gladioli 'decorated the. I altar. Mrs. Carl Benko was the' vocalist, and Mrs. High Wimsatt., the organist. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Mildred Bellis. I I South Bend. The bridesmaids were ’Miss Norma Barden, sister of the < bride; Miss Darlene Deranek, sis- , ter of the bridegroom and Miss . Carole Ann Ross, Walkerton, niece of the bride. Janice Barden, Indianapolis, was the flower girl, and Marcia Barden, Indianapolis, was the ring bearer. They are nieces of the bride. Casimer Deranek was best man. The ushers were Leonard Ciesielski and James Makowski .of i South Bend, and Ray Bolin, Mish- ' awaka. Wears Gown of Lace The bride was given in marriage by her brother, George Barden, of Indianapolis. She wore a gown of lace, fashioned with a scoop neckline decorated with sequins and seed pearls and with pleated short I sleeves. The fitted bodice topped a 1 floor length billowing skirt. She 1 wore a sequined crown which hod a veil of silk illusion, fingertip length, with blusher. She carried a cascade bouquet of white feathered chrysanthemums centered wieth white pompoms. The matron of honor wore a pink lace sheath dress with an overskirt of four layers of net in matching color. She wore a headpiece of light pink nylon holding a. short veil with rhinestones scat- ‘ tered over it. She carried a basket of blue mums. The bridesmaids’ sheath dresses were of blue lace I and they carried pink mums in

baskets. They wore light blue headpieces holding veil. Blue Taffeta Dress Dresses of light blue taffeta,] street length, with overskirts of white net and headpieces of mums' were worn by the bride's atten-i limits. They carried pink mums in a basket. The bride's mother wore] a black and white polka dot. taf-j bta dress with an overskirt of polka <|ol and had white acres-1 series. The bridegroom’s mother wore a him- crepe dress and had! sapphire blue accessories. A wedding breakfast was served in the Laurel Club and a reception : held there. The newlyweds left for a trip through Canada. They will be at home at Rt. 2, Walkerton. The bride is a graduate of Tyner High School and the bridegroom o1 Washington High School. South Bend. He served in the Navy three years and is now attending Indiana State Teachers College, Terre Haute. He is a member of 1 Lambda Chi Alpha national soc- > ial fraternity.
