John Vajda performed the double-ring ceremony at 3:00 o’clock before an altar of palms and white gladioli. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of white nylon organza, trirnwitA JZenice lace blossoms , with -embroidery. A scoop neckline and short sleeves with the basque waist line topped the full skirt / wiThth • Was dotted with applique. A flat' bow in the back, with panels extending to the hemline gave a flattering effect. Her French ■ illusion ,*’eil was held in place with • a cjqwb ,of jseed pearls. Her bouquet was a white purple Upped ( r- . chid with streamers of split carnations snd stephonotis. Miss Ann A organist, and Miss Jean S. Makis, vocalist, furnished the nuptial music. Miss Marie Kabardis, East Chicago, was Maid of Honor. She wore a street length dress of torquoise silk organza with scoop neck, with a bow and panel in the back in a darker shade of turquoise. Her headpiece was a flat bow with blusher veil, and she carried a spray of white carnations. The bridesmaids, Miss Janet Klepsch. and Miss Gudrun Runzer, both of East Chicago, wore identical dres- ! ses to. the maid of honor, only in pthk. 'I Mrs. Genevieve Daly was elected faculty chairman. Mrs. Ewart Farrar was named delegate to the Indiana State Teachers Association assembly to be held in October.
