Michele, and son, Danny, have returned to their home in South Bend after spending several weeks at their lake cottage. There was a reunion of three . generations of the Swanson family held at tht Conservation clubhouse Sunday with a cany in turkey . dinner with all the trimmings. Tire I hostesses were Mrs. Elsie Swanson , Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zettle. Mr. and Mr. Cyril Zettle of Alexandria, । Ind., were guests. There were 35 members of the Swanson family | present from Chicago. Elmwood Park, Homewood and Lansing 111. Following the dinner hour Hie group enjoyed speed boat rides and water skeeing. Mr and Mrs. Lyman Riebe left Wednesday this week for Lemon Grove Calif., where Mr. Riebe will accept a position with the National Shipbuilding Corp., at San Diego. Ja’ k Riebe returned to Camp Pendleton, Calif., after spending his furlough with his parents. Mrs. C. J. Peterson has returned to her home in Chicago after spending several weeks as the guest of Mrs. Anna Wolfe. Mrs. Peter. 1 -on accompanied Harry Duset, who' was a guest of Mrs. Wolfe. Mr. .and Mrs. Don Byrne and i son. Richard. Chicago, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harris Vallis last Friday. NOTICE Monthly meeting of 1 the Koontz Lake Fireman’s Auxil-I ia’y will be held Wednesday. Sept 9th. Meeting is scheduled for 7:30; p. m. and will be held at the fire station. All members are urged to attend, to take part in the annua' election of officers. Evensen last Saturday at Trinity Luth eran Church, Hobart; also the reception following at Green Acres! Community Center, Merrillville. Miss Meyer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Meyer who formerly resided in our community several years.
